According to Thomas Widrat, we have the following information:
The new single "Dr. No" will be released in February 2008, the cover is ready but still is not available. The album, will be "Out of the Blue" and is expected to be released on March '08.

A little thank you

W ords are simply out of words!!!

Now that after Rolf's passing some calm is restored and watched all the condolences in the internet the past weeks, we also would like to say some words at this point.
We all, that are the family of Rolf. Rolf was our son, brother,brother-in-law, uncle and even great-uncle!! Usually we met on christmas time, if Rolf had the time. At this time the more painfully it will be to become aware of that loss.
How to thank all those, who engaged theirselves and expressed their feelings of the mourning? We would like to express our sincere thanks to every single person at this point. We also would like to thank to the friends and acquaintances, who involved so numerously with their donations for the funeral.
Nevertheless life goes on for all of us and as especially Rolf, who seldom made a time-out, would want it that way.
At this point we'd also like to say thank-you for the self-composition to "Kevin" from Switzerland. The song touched us very deeply. Thank you for it. Rolf would be pleased for sure.

Information about new CDs from SIB
According to Thomas Widrat, the new single will come the next year, these were his words recently:
"Dr.No" will be released in january or february 2008! soon afterwards the album of Systems in Blue will follow. the album of Mark Ashley, on which is currently worked, will also be released in the first half year 2008".

A month then of lost our leader, we can comment that SIB will continue with the pending proyects, there are some comments about the new album from SIB that would be published at the beginning of the next year. About the new single, last information announced that it will be released in this year as soon as is possible.

Bohlen's Singer is dead

He wasn't a Star, but he createt the Sound of the 80s like not many musicians did – as one of the Voices of Modern Talking and Blue System. With his own formation Systems in Blue he kept that sound from the past alive – but now Rolf Köhler died in Hamburg. Just a few people knew his name, but the half globe has already heard his voice. Rolf Köhler was 14 when his mother died, a time, about which he doesn't spoke to anyone,even not to friends. A short while after that he went „on the road“. His true passion was Rock 'n' Roll & Heavy Metal; but earned his money as a choir singer, one of the most demanded in Germany. He worked for Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Peter Kraus and was on Tour with Roger Whittaker. "Wenn’s um Geld geht, Sparkasse" – also that famous slogan for a german Commercial Spot was sung by him. He gave his Voice to countless other commercials, including that for the soup-fabricator Unox, where Köhler used his famous 's' , which was always so sharply spoken that every sound board operator was afraid.

He never existed for the "Bravo"-Readers

From 1984 to 2000 Köhler worked on quite everything that was produced by Dieter Bohlen: Engelbert, Al Martino, Bonnie Tyler. But his most important employment was to be part of the Eunuch-Choir for Modern Talking; Blue System, Bohlens second big Project was shaped by his husky voice. In his own Studio,which is located in Brake/Lower-Saxony, Köhler had all the gold records, which he has received for his work and success on Modern Talking and Blue System. Officiall, for all the „Bravo“-Readers and Fans of the Bohlen/Anders-Duo, he and his choir-mates Detlef Wiedeke and Michael Scholz were never existing. Some years ago, during the Comeback of Modern Talking, the three singers made it public: they explained that not one single tone on his records was sung by him – which he denies 'til today. The record company paid each of the three 100.000 Marks, just pocket money compared with the incomes the company earned.

Characterized the Style of the 80's

In 2003 Köhler, Wiedeke and Scholz were united again. As a little greeting to their former fellow Bohlen they named the formation: Systems in Blue. The first album sounded like jouney in time 20 years back, right into the decade of white sports-socks in sneakers and padded shoulders. When Köhler sings and you close your eyes, one can believe to see Bohlen with his flowing hair. „We are maybe a bit more into the 80's than Dieter nowadays.“ Rolf Köhler said last week in his final interview. „ We simply go for that old music! We were witnesses of that time and characterized that style.“ He and his mates teased again and again in interviews, that Bohlen could be a guest singer in their group. System in Blue's success in Germany was a manageable size, but on the other hand thousands of fans came to their concerts in Israel and Siberia, who wanted to hear the sound which went around the world 20 years ago. Still before Christmas, it was planned to release the second album of that Band. Past Week on Thursday Köhler did his last solo part for that. Two Hours later he collapsed. Apoplectic Stroke. Sunday evening he died in the hospital Hamburg Altona, aged 55. „We have lost our best friend much too early“ his band mates wrote on the internet page of systems in blue. „ He didn't received the acknowledgment of its large musical achievement during lifetimes. But innumerable humans loved him and appreciated his friendship.

Info about Burow
Systems In Blue start the show at 24.00, the first song performed was Point Of No Return, then more titles from their first Album: Winner, Magic Mystery, Every little Thing, 1001 nights, Can`t stand the pain, Le vent m`a dit, also they included the Blue System Medley and Modern Talking Medley, at the end they perform the new song "Dr. No", date of release for the new single still is unknow, but we know that the work of the second album is over on 30.09.2007 . According to the public, the new song is a great Hit, with the typical high chorus that belong to the SIB style. We are going to give more info in the next days.

This Saturday 8, Systems In Blue will have a concert in Burow, the show will start at 23.00 p.m. also, they will sing the new song of his new single and the next album that will be released soon.

Systems in Blue has given more info about his new album, they say that 12 new titles are ready and composed, now they are working in the arrangement and singing, and together with their record company they has chosen already the title for the next single.
SIB also tell about the new album with Mark Ashley, it will be produced by them and of course they will sing the high chorus like in Give a Little Sweet Love.

T.M. Joy - Passion & Pain

The new album of T.M. Joy was released recently (27-07-07), this album Passion & Pain has the participation of Detlef Wiedeke in one of the songs, he plays the guitar in track numer 9, "Will I Ever See You Again".

SIB Sibirian concert
Systems in Blue has given a little report in their official site about how was the Concert in the city of Tjumen in Siberia (28.04.07). According to that they make an interview in a radio station, then in the concert they sang all the songs of their Point Of No Return album including a MT & BS Medley in the concert.
