Thomas Anders - New proyects
Thomas Anders, ex-vocalist of Modern Talking was working in his new proyects in Moscow - Russia, where he worked with a russian producer. He produced a new album called "Strong" that according with Thomas, is now finished. Thomas also made two videoclips, and is announcing the release of his next single "Why do you cry". Thomas will give more details soon. The next video was broadcasted by russian TV.

About Thomas Anders in Festival Legends of Retro FM

The last 04 November, Thomas Anders was in the festival of Legends of Retro FM in Russia. The public was about 20,000 persons who enjoyed his songs, he also gave some interviews. Thomas Anders sang together with Sandra, their song "The Night is still young", Thomas also sang a song for russian children, and finally he performed the classic hits of Modern Talking, "Atlantis is Calling", "Brother Louie", "Chery Lady" and You're My Heart You're My Soul".

The ex-members of Modern Talking, Thomas Anders and Dieter Bohlen are going to have a next show everyone in Russia. Thomas will have a performing in the Festival Legends of Retro FM, and some days later (on 27 November), Dieter will have a performing in the show of Discoteca 80's. Some rumours about a possible encounter are total denials, specially for same Thomas Anders, we know Modern Talking never will back.

Thomas Anders new album is cancelled!!
Thomas Anders contacted his fans and announced that unfortunately his new album won't be released this year, the reason is because he doesn't feel sufficiently satisfied with the work and he needs to take more time for it. He also told about the next fanclub Party, it will be on 13-2-2010, he will give more details later. Finally he also commented that his site will have some changes.

25 Anniversary of Modern Talking!!

Thomas Anders let a message to their fans, where he clarify the DVD of the Fanparty is coming soon, he ask apologizes for the late of the edition, but it worth and his fans will enjoy it, this edition will include, the party in general, the concert and extra pictures and informations. Interview to SIB about MT
Some weeks ago a russian radiostation in Nobosibirsk made an special for the International Women's day, it included a short interview to the SIB member, Michael Scholz, with questions about the beginning of Modern Talking. Here a translation thanks to our russian friends:

Today the team “Stereo” made a great surprise for woman, which is connected with famous musicians of the group Modern Talking and Dieter Bohlen’s project Blue System. It’s a musical project Systems In Blue – Michael Scholz and Detlef Wiedeke. Why do we talk about them? Because these people became famous all over the world for their collaboration with group Modern Talking and Dieter Bohlen’s project Blue System. They recorded the instruments in their studio, made arrangements, wrote harmony. So they took a very active part in creation such disco giants. All back vocals, which you hear in Modern Talking and Blue System, are made just by them! So, let Michael Scholz tell us himself, how all this was created. We called to Germany and now there is an express interview especially for you in honor of the holiday!.

DJ: Michael, how did you entered the music?
MS: My father was a musician. My grandfather was a musician too. I started my creation, when I was 12 or 13 years old. It was heard days of the Beatles. So it was really amazing to be part of this!

DJ: And what do you think is your best work?
MS: Oh, we made so many good songs and I am stagnated with saying which one is the best. We have a marvelous album ” Out Of The Blue’ with the titles “Dr No”, “Heaven And Hell”, “Two Faces”. We put our soul and love to our songs. These are all our babies, you know.

DJ: How did your genius collaboration with Dieter Bohlen and Thomas Anders begin?
MS: We started in 1984 in the studio session, where was Thomas Anders. And we recorded 3 songs in German and one in English called “You’re My Heart You’re My Soul” and nobody knew what would happen with this song. Nobody knew that song. And then Modern Talking was founded. That all happened incidentally.

DJ: And what is your favorite song of Modern Talking?
MS: Oh yes, it’s ‘You’re My Heart You’re My Soul”. It’s the first and most favorite, because it’s the first one. We worked very hard with the sound, before this song was created in studio session.

DJ: Thank you Michael. And, at last, when our program will be broadcasted, in Russia The International Women’s Day will be celebrated. What would you like to wish all Russian women?
MS: I wish them all the best and good luck and health and love. All the best to everybody – to every girl and every woman, young or old. I give them my best regards from Germany to far away Novosibirsk!

The new disk of Thomas Anders, Good Karma will be available since May 10. We know also that he is performing in the "Frühlingsshow", spring show in Gran Canarias, together with a lot of german stars, Thomas will sing his new song Good Karma there. He also will do some performings together with the singer Sandra, for sing their song The Night is Still Young, a first performing will be in the Carmen Nebel show, on 9 May by ZDF, and on 10 May in Fersehgarten also by ZDF german channel.

Summary of the Thomas Anders Fanclub Party
The meeting was in the Rhein-Mosel-Halle, in Koblenz - Germany, there were people from many countries from Europe, America (South and North), Orient and Asia. All them had the chance for buy many stuff that in the party was available.

Due to it was also Valentine's day, everyone in the audience got a red rose. At 15.00 p.m. started the first part of the show, a video in big screens was showed with a special about the 20 anniversary and the career of Thomas Anders as solo and with Modern Talking. Thomas performed some samples of three of the new songs included in his next album, the first one "Good Karma" (pop style but not MT sound), "Everybody wants to rule the World" (dance pop) and the song in duet with Sandra (a nice spanish sound song), the physic single was announced for April and the album in the year. Thomas then performed to the winner of the video contest Ibiza, it was Arne (webmaster of Modern-Talking-Online and other sites in Germany), then were offered more stuff from Thomas to fans. The first part of the show was over, and a break came. At 19.00 hours started the concert. Together with the Modern Talking musicians, thomas sang the next songs in this concert:

"Modern Talking is cultural possession"

The music star and producer Thomas Anders (45) celebrates in 2009 his 40th stage-jubilee. His record of success is clear to see: 125 million sold CDs, 420 golden records, 35x platinum. In spring appears his 21st album. As "thank you" for his fans Thomas Anders invites on 14. February for a big fan-club-meeting and concert in the Rhein-Mosel-Hall in his home town Koblenz. "BUNTE"(magazine) met the married family-father for a talk.

You have started as a child star?

Yes. My first performance I had at a Christmas party in my home village. I stood on a small stage and have sung "Heidschi Bumbeidschi". I found it dead-smartly. As gage I got a bag of chips and a bar of chocolate. Of course I was proud like Bolle. I thought it is great that I could do something where I had fun and that I also was rewarded.

From that moment you wanted to be singer?

Yes. I have told to everybody. My brother is 6 years older than me. With his 12 years more(older), he had a little bit more wisdom than me of course at that time. He said to me: "Singer is no job. You cannot become simply a singer. You must have luck." Then I said: "OK, then I will have luck and become a singer. Point." For me there was no alternative to my dream job.

Your parents have hoped that you will still learn a "decent" job, right?

I have been go on stage so often at any party or old people´s homes. My parents have supported that from the outset, because they realized that I would like to sing absolutely.

Your real name is Bernd Weidung. When you started to call yourself Thomas Anders?

With fifteen. The name developed in cooperation with my producer at that time. He liked so much the name Anders. But Bernd Anders didn´t sound good. Since the end of the 70´s the big time by Tommy Ohrner came, the boy who lost his smile, so my producer had the idea for Tommy Anders. But I didn´t want to be Tommy Anders, because I have already said at that time that I still want to be with old age at the stage. So I became Thomas Anders ...

"It's not a kind of me, in retrospect to find something embarrassing"

... and travelled more badly than right with german hits through the country.

Exactly. By the way, Dieter Bohlen has already written and produced some german songs for me. At that time he was also not successful. For both of us came the breakthrough(success) in 1984 with "Modern Talking".

Dieter Bohlen and you have separated in the 90´s. Are you still proud of the huge success of "Modern Talking"?

Well, if I wouldn´t be proud, I wouldn´t know, for what else. We have written music history, have sold 125 million recording mediums(CDs). Without to want to sound arrogant: But we are a part of the musical cultural possession of the Germans. No matter if I am in India, China or South America, when the people hear songs there like "Cheri Cheri Lady" or "You're My Heart, You're My Soul", then they shine and laugh. The music of Modern Talking is internationally known and until now successful. That is great.

You're not embarrassed, like you looked at that time - long hairs, pastel-colored silk suits, total brown burned?

It's not a kind of me as a matter of principle, in retrospect to find something embarrassing. Weakness of character is something that I find embarrassing. But not to be clothed stupid or with an outsized necklace around the neck ...

When someone thinks on Modern Talking today, automatically thinks also of the huge "Nora" gold necklace, that from the relationship with your earlier wife has been your trademark. Is the necklace still there?

Yes, it´s still there. It is lying in a safe and rest in peace. Actually I had to get a marketing price for this necklace. At that time it cost 5000 DM. Since 19 years I don´t wear this necklace, but anyhow I will spoken to this necklace. That is the best Branding that you can wish yourself. Companies spend a lot of money to design a logo, that stays in memory of the customers.

About the new album, the planned title would be "Good Karma", the album will be released on Spring in Germany, a very possible CD in physical release that will be produced by Robert Wässer, it also include a duet with Sandra, a song called "The night is still Young", is mentioned also something about a duet with Kasia Nova. Thomas also mentioned that will have shows in Israel - Tel Aviv on March 21 st, Russia - Moscow on April 23rd, St. Petersburgo, Austria, Poland, and other places still not confimed. The new single of Thomas Anders, "Kisses For Christmas", will be released on 21.11 in four versions, available for download by online-shops. Thomas Anders wrote this song together with Achim Broch Hausen and Ina Wolf the same team that also wrote "Songs that Live Forever", will be a swing song in time with the Christmas. Thomas Anders announces Clarifications
Some fans were confused about the release of the new album of Thomas Anders, some rumours was saying that it would be released aprox. in August, but this were not true. Thomas Anders himself had made the clarifications, it was never confirmed, the last singles were released only for download, and is probable the new single also will come in this way, the title for this new song is "Kisses for Christmas" and will have a serie of promotional TV and radio performs, the premier will be on november 26th in Carmen Nebel show. Dieter Bohlen didn't sung on „Modern Talking“ records! On the TV-Show „DSDS“ the titan of Pop jokes about everyone who hasn't the perfect voice. But in the music studio he had to double his own voice by professional singers. What „Milli Vanilli“ did was criminal. You can't treat teenage-dreams like this. When i was a teen, i was a complete Beatles Fan. If someone had told me that Paul McCartney did'nt sing himself, i collapsed.“ These were the words of Dieter Bohlen (54), when in 1990 the truth were revealed, that the Discopop-Duo „Milli Vanilli“ didn't sung their songs. But: People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. Now it turned out that the Pop-titan obviously had to doule his own voice on his „Modern Talking“ albums! „There is just one single song on which Dieter Bohlen sung along on a „Modern Talking“ album. It was the song „There's too much blue in Missing You“ from his first album.“ says Bohlen's Ex-Arranger Ralf Stemmann (49) to FREIZEIT REVUE. Apart from that he never sung.“ Secrecy. Instead of him were beside Thomas Anders exclusivly the singers of the studio choir „Systems in Blue“ Michael scholz (58), Rolf Köhler (+56) and Detlef Wiedeke (57) to hear on the records. Allegedly they were fobbed with about 3000 DM each person – while Dieter Bohlen earned millions with their voices. A legal dispute, where the singers insist a profit-sharing, ended 2001 in a agreement between them and Dieter Bohlen along with his record company. Winner of Supertalent produced by Jeo
Ricardo Marinello, the winner of the show Supertalent (with 40% of votes), show that had to Bohlen in the jury and was broadcasted in successful way by the german channel RTL, will have his debut album, that will be produced by Jeo, team part of Dieter Bohlen and also include the colaboration of the same Bohlen that write six songs by a pseudonym. Thomas Anders in Viña del Mar 2008
The chilean newspaper "La Segunda" has published recently an article where they comment about the next Festival of viña del Mar, according to this article, Thomas Anders could be invited for participate as jury of the International genre, but a participation as part of the festival is not confirmed. In past, Thomas Anders was in Viña del Mar, the years 1988, 1989 y 1990, where he gave successful concerts in this country.

My chief reason for writing is that I want to invite you to my annual fan club get-together. It will take place on January 26th, 2008 at the Kulturfabrik in Koblenz, Germany. Doors open at 1:00 P.M. The program starts at 3:00 P.M. and ends around 6:00 P.M. Round two starts about 7:00 P.M. with a concert. The show will last about 95 minutes. But you know me, sometimes I talk and talk and it could go a little longer. The day will end around 9:00 P.M. . Registration is unnecessary because there is plenty of room.

Mark Medlock was found with cocaina
Mark Medlock who recently has released his new album Dreamcatcher together with Dieter Bohlen, was found in a gay discoteque "Das Haus b" in Berlin, with drugs. A picture taken by a cellphone show him in a bathroom with another man preparing and taking the cocaine. Dieter Bohlen in his recently appear in the show of Johannes B. Kerner, has said that Mark is not his son, and he can't be responsable for the things that he can do in his spare time, despiste sometimes he is really worried. Mark Medlock continue in silence until now, the only that he could say was that he doesn't take drugs.

Bohlen's house assailants were sentenced

Finally, then of 11 months since the spectacular robbery to the House of Dieter Bohlen the last year, the criminals were sentenced to 3 years prison. The two youngs of 18 and 19 years old were arrested three months ago, and they confessed be guilty of the robbery, where they get about 30.000 euros (despiste Dieter say that was 60.000 euros) from the Bohlen's house in Hamburg.

Bohlens Singer is dead

He wasn't a Star, but he createt the Sound of the 80s like not many musicians did – as one of the Voices of Modern Talking and Blue System. With his own formation Systems in Blue he kept that sound from the past alive – but now Rolf Köhler died in Hamburg. Just a few people knew his name, but the half globe has already heard his voice. Rolf Köhler was 14 when his mother died, a time, about which he doesn't spoke to anyone,even not to friends. A short while after that he went „on the road“. His true passion was Rock 'n' Roll & Heavy Metal; but earned his money as a choir singer, one of the most demanded in Germany. He worked for Marius Müller-Westernhagen, Peter Kraus and was on Tour with Roger Whittaker. "Wenn’s um Geld geht, Sparkasse" – also that famous slogan for a german Commercial Spot was sung by him. He gave his Voice to countless other commercials, including that for the soup-fabricator Unox, where Köhler used his famous 's' , which was always so sharply spoken that every sound board operator was afraid.

He never existed for the „Bravo“-Readers

From 1984 to 2000 Köhler worked on quite everything that was produced by Dieter Bohlen: Engelbert, Al Martino, Bonnie Tyler. But his most important employment was to be part of the Eunuch-Choir for Modern Talking; Blue System, Bohlens second big Project was shaped by his husky voice. In his own Studio,which is located in Brake/Lower-Saxony, Köhler had all the gold records, which he has received for his work and success on Modern Talking and Blue System. Officiall, for all the „Bravo“-Readers and Fans of the Bohlen/Anders-Duo, he and his choir-mates Detlef Wiedeke and Michael Scholz were never existing. Some years ago, during the Comeback of Modern Talking, the three singers made it public: they explained that not one single tone on his records was sung by him – which he denies 'til today. The record company paid each of the three 100.000 Marks, just pocket money compared with the incomes the company earned.

Characterized the Style of the 80's

In 2003 Köhler, Wiedeke and Scholz were united again. As a little greeting to their former fellow Bohlen they named the formation: Systems in Blue. The first album sounded like jouney in time 20 years back, right into the decade of white sports-socks in sneakers and padded shoulders. When Köhler sings and you close your eyes, one can believe to see Bohlen with his flowing hair. „We are maybe a bit more into the 80's than Dieter nowadays.“ Rolf Köhler said last week in his final interview. „ We simply go for that old music! We were witnesses of that time and characterized that style.“ He and his mates teased again and again in interviews, that Bohlen could be a guest singer in their group. System in Blue's success in Germany was a manageable size, but on the other hand thousands of fans came to their concerts in Israel and Siberia, who wanted to hear the sound which went around the world 20 years ago. Still before Christmas, it was planned to release the second album of that Band. Past Week on Thursday Köhler did his last solo part for that. Two Hours later he collapsed. Apoplectic Stroke. Sunday evening he died in the hospital Hamburg Altona, aged 55. „We have lost our best friend much too early“ his band mates wrote on the internet page of systems in blue. „ He didn't received the acknowledgment of its large musical achievement during lifetimes. But innumerable humans loved him and appreciated his friendship."

Musical tragedy in the Modern Talking World

The last sunday 16.09.2007 died one of the creators of the typical sound of Modern Talking, the leader of Systems in Blue and singer in many Dieter Bohlen productions, included Blue System. On thursday, Rolf Köhler with 56 years old, had a collapse, and then of three days he died in a hospital in Hamburg on Sunday. Rolf Köhler wished to continue with the classic and original style from Modern Talking, that's reason because his death is a big lost to all Modern Talking fans, and to all the people that start to love the new music from Systems in Blue. Since here we give our condolences. Our music has an irreplaceable lost and all his fans cry for him, we will miss your voice, Rolf Köhler forever!!!. Thomas Anders inkognito

Thomas Anders has changed the look again, but this time for be a character that will participate in the next TV show of the german channel Kabel Eins called "Experiment Inkognito". This time Thomas will be part of the experiment, the purporse of this experiment is change completely the look of a celebrity and wait that nobody can recognize him/her. The work for change the look of Thomas had about four hours, and they get an awesome result.

Many celebrities want to take the challenger and Thomas Anders has been on of the First, he will try to play like another human in real life and real places waiting that nobody can know who is him. Experiment Inkognito will be broadcasted since August 27th by Kabel Eins at 21.15 horas.

Dieter Bohlen Robbery, finally gangsters catched
The newspaper Bild gave the info this morning, about the two crminals from the robbery to Dieter Bohlen the last year on December. They were finally identify and captured thanks to the videocamera from the Bohlen's hause that filmed everything. The two boys from the video were a Lebanese (19) and his German friend (18), they said that when they make the act they were 18 and 17 years old. They weren't previously convicted but police think that they have a big criminalistic potential. Both wait for pay their criminal acts.

	The last 3rd July Thomas was part of the International Festival in Bursa -Turkey, country where he back then of 20 years. According to the fans, the show was wonderful, Thomas sang his new song Gentlenman and others from Modern Talking and his solo carreer.

Previous moments to the final of DSDS4 were very emotional, the favorite Mark Medlock sang the new song of Bohlen "Now or Never" and then the votations gave the results, with about a 78% of votes Mark Medlock (29) won to Martin Stosch (16), now Mark is the new superstar for Germany. Dieter Bohlen will produce a new album for him, and the single Now or Never is waiting for will released on May 11.
